Quick Procedure

Brody had his VEPTR surgery this morning to expand his chest. It went really well and turned out to be a really quick procedure. We had anticipated 90 minutes but it took less than 45. His chest is noticeably bigger now. Also, we are hoping to have a repeat ultrasound of his arm and maybe his chest today to see if we can't figure out why his elbow appears to be injured. Other than that, it should be a pretty slow day. We are keeping him extra sedated to help keep the pain at bay. We'll see how things are going tomorrow and I'll post any updates then.
