I've been so busy I haven't posted anything in weeks. So far our holiday is going pretty well. Its been difficult not having Brody around but we are doing what we can to keep his memory alive. We actually put one of those 6 ft tree lawn ornaments on Brody's grave. Over the top? Maybe, but thats okay.
Here we are less than a week from Christmas and I have barely even started my Christmas shopping. I'm off work today so maybe I better get on it!! Thats the one thing I hate about Christmas. I hate that I have to spend so much for it to be a "good" Christmas.
In other happenings... Trista and Scott were married last Saturday. It was a nice ceremony and the reception went well. However, it snowed like MAD!!! It was a scary drive but it was worth it to see those two so happy! :)
MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!

You have barely done any Christmas shopping?!?! Are you kidding me?!?!?! I hear ya on spending so much money though. Chase and I promised we would only buy Hagen a few things this year since he just barely started playing with the millions of toys we bought him last year, but we have went a littleover board on the word "few". LOL. Oh well I guess.
Seriously, we need a Girl's Night SOON!!!!
I think a lot of us are in your situation. We just started last week shopping. Maybe it's a sign that we're supposed to make Chrismtas more simple. :)
We went out to decorate Ava's grave as well, although we are not really suppose to leave anything...but how could we not??? I just hope they leave the things there until after Christmas.
Have fun shopping!!!
I'm in the same boat as you. My mother actually went out tonight and bought Carson a few things for me. Hopefully I will get some help to get Coltan and Cody something as well. They are 12 and 13 and both told me that they just want money. I will still need to buy them some stocking stuffers but right now I'm homebound with Carson so I will need to figure out a way to sneak out.
I'm glad you put some decorations up for Brody. I'm sure he is enjoying it from up above.
I lit a candle last Saturday and thought of Brody as well as a few other wonderful angels.
Take care and know I keep your family in my prayers.
Just wanted to let you know that I have been thinking of you. I hope you had a wonderful Christmas, and I don't think you went over the top on the tree. I bet Brody was just a grinnin down from heaven.
Sending lots of loves...
